The Center for Digital Thriving is a research and innovation center at Harvard Graduate School of Education. They are proudly based at Project Zero, which has a long history as a home to research that leans into areas where there is little or perceivably zero communicable knowledge or consensus.

Mission / Focus
The Center for Digital Thriving is a research and innovation hotspot housed in Project Zero at Harvard Graduate School of Education. We create knowledge and research-based resources that help people – especially youth – thrive in a tech-filled world. We practice participatory design which means that research participants become partners and drivers in our research and design process. For us, this means that we include youth, educators, and other adult constituents at every step. Above all, we center the voices of youth in our work. We transform our research into easy-to-use materials, making the process of repairing and rethinking relationships with technology practical, enjoyable, and delightful whenever we can.
Anyone can freely access our research-based app, videos, printouts, and classroom lessons and resources that aim to build digital agency and support thriving. We also conduct ongoing research to understand digital thriving and the kinds of interventions that can support it.
