Mission / Focus

The mission of the Lee Kum Sheung Center for Health and Happiness is to build a rigorous and interdisciplinary science of positive health, happiness, and well-being with a focus on health equity, and to translate the science to influence practice and policy. We aim to achieve this through: knowledge production, capacity building, and translation and communication. We will accomplish this by conducting and supporting primary research, investing in the next generation of scholars, and building networks that leverage the breadth and depth of interdisciplinary knowledge and expertise across Harvard University.

Areas of Study

The Lee Kum Sheung Center for Health and Happiness areas of focus include: Youth Mental Health, Problematic Social Media Use, Health Communications, Psychology, and Population Sciences.
